Life is a Game
These words are on a DKNY SPORT card that was attached to a piece of clothing that Lou Ann bought. Life is a sport, and we play it. We move fast and we have goals. Not just at the gym or on a court but in the city and on the streets that we love. We train for the sport of living well, with eyes on the goal and not the clock. No one loses, but to win takes more than just showing up. It means we have to be highly flexible, innovate every day, push our limits, and remember how to breathe. Game on!
Life can be more fun when we make a game of it. We get to make all the rules, if we choose to. We get to prepare our minds and hearts to create the best life possible. We don’t have to compete with anyone else. It is our journey and we get to say what life brings us. Even when life seems to go against us, we get to choose how we feel about any situation. We get to make another choice that will lead us in a direction of success.
Remember the classic book by Florence Scovel Shinn; The Game of Life and how to play it? Here is the essence: In this transformational classic, Florence teaches the power of positive thought. She explains how our thoughts and words affect the experience we have in our daily lives, and uses concrete examples to show how we can use them to bring more of what we want into our lives, including abundance, love and success. A wonderful and simple-to-follow book on the power of right thinking. You can get it on Amazon for five bucks!
Let us remember, that to some degree, we are all abundant, loved and successful. When we focus on the truth of this, we attract more to us. Let us support each other in being successful at each other’s game of life. We are all winners, just breathe it in! From my successful heart to yours, Thomas
