Synchronicity and Surrender
I was talking with two of our vacation rental guests at our home this afternoon. I was sharing with her the title of this blog that I share with you each day. I sang for her a couple of lines of John Denver’s Heart to Heart song. She shared that she grew up enjoying rock bands and never got into John Denver’s music. The lady said that she had experienced a successful life living in Orange County California. But something was missing, Then she had the urge to move to Boulder Colorado. Then she heard a Denver song about coming home and her life totally shifted in a powerful way. She knew she was home!
It is the events in our life that are orchestrated by our Higher Self, that change our lives forever. If I hadn’t been led by a number of synchronous events to move to Arizona back in 1977; I may have never met Lou Ann. I would have missed out on thirty five years of unspeakable joy! ! Remember the John Denver song Sweet Surrender?
Here are the lyrics:
Lost and alone on some forgotten highway, traveled by many, remembered by few.
Looking for something that I can believe in,
looking for something that I’d like to do with my life.
There’s nothing behind me and nothing that ties me to
something that might have been true yesterday.
Tomorrow is open and right now it seems to be more than enough
To just be here today, and I don’t know what the future is holding in store,
I don’t know where I’m going, I’m not sure where I’ve been.
There’s a spirit that guides me, a light that shines for me,
my life is worth the living, I don’t need to see the end.
Sweet, sweet surrender, live, live without care,
like a fish in the water, like a bird in the air.
Sweet, sweet surrender, live, live without care,
like a fish in the water, like a bird in the air.
So today’s lesson, loved ones, is to surrender to Universe and follow your heart. You will create amazing adventures that will fulfill you in so many ways. From my serendipitous heart to yours, Thomas
