Let Your Light Shine
The Sedona International Film Festival is complete, so now I can get to bed at a decent hour. It was a wonderful experience for me. I love being around the energy of folks making a difference on our planet. These talented artists and creators are giving all of their energy into what they believe. They are like shining lights in the darkness. They are not any different than you and I though. They remind me of that exciting quote from Marianne Williamson:“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Sometimes we get caught up in a pattern of not letting our light shine. We are all unlimited at the spiritual level. We only believe that we are not. We have forgotten who we are. And it is never too late. No matter what our choices have been in life. No matter what we have created that doesn’t seem to support us. In the very next minute we can change by bringing up the feelings we are experiencing that are less than helpful. Once we access them, say the word “change”. Do this anytime you feel stuck in any way. You can reprogram the mind and let go of the blockage. This one small step can help us begin to break through our self imposed limitations and our lights will be able to shine again! From my shining heart to yours, Thomas
