It’s In Everyone One of Us
In 1975 David Pomeranz wrote this wonderful song:
It’s in everyone of us
To be wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why
It’s in everyone of us
By and byIt’s in everyone of us
To be wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing how
It’s in everyone of us
Here and now
To be wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why
It’s in everyone of us
By and byIt’s in everyone of us
To be wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing how
It’s in everyone of us
Here and now
It’s in everyone of us
I just remembered
It’s like I’ve been sleepin’ forty years
I’m not awake as I can be
But my seein’s better
I can see, through the tears
I’ve been realisin’ bad
I bought this ticket
And watching only half of the show
But there is scenery and lights
And a cast of thousands
You all know (you all know) what I know (what I know)
And it’s good
That it’s so
The lyrics say find your heart. They don’t say find your mind. He encourages us to open up both our eyes. That means to me, not to ignore what is going on in our world. And it is time to wake up. It is like we have been sleeping for years. More like centuries. Our wisdom and good is not just in some of us. It is in everyone one of us. Some are in such pain that they have hidden wisdom and love and they have not awakened. It is up to us who have begun to awaken to the goodness of life to celebrate and share our wisdom.
