My wife Lou Ann gave me feedback that when I make suggestions that I shared in yesterday’s post, like there is no right or wrong, it may cause problems. Her thought is that some that are not as awake may use that as an excuse for their actions. They might think if there is no right or wrong then it doesn’t matter what they do because there are no consequences. There are consequences for everything we think, say or do. I just want folks to lighten up and stop living in fear about some “eternal” consequence. I don’t believe in a hell or a anthropomorphic deity that makes value judgments based on our Earthly performance. I would encourage us to not live in fear that somehow we may not measure up and receive some kind of eternal penalty for it. Let’s live our lives in joy and wonder!
When I say there is no right or wrong it means that I want most of us to stop our negative inner dialogue. As many have observed we are often our own worst enemy. I almost misspelled the previous word and had it ending with an a. And it may be that we are our own worst enema! We need to get our personal shit out and not let us harm us! Most have been raised by well meaning parents doing the best they can using parenting skills from a prior generation that might not serve us. When mom and dad told us things to try an protect us or control us they may have caused some emotional harm that we often carry throughout our lives. We often have an inner voice which can be quite critical and limiting in many ways. And it sometimes sounds like our parents voice!
So let us make today a new beginning of forgiving ourselves and our parents and siblings and peers. Let us each know that we may have created this personal path to learn a lesson or create an outcome our soul desires. And that leads us exactly to where our higher self wants us to be. We all have our individual yellow brick road and we choose to travel it in our own unique way. I am encouraging all of us to put on our own perfect color shoes and click our heels together and see what happens. Love yourself like you love your children or your pet or anything else that warms your heart. You have never done anything your soul didn’t want you to do. You haven’t made any mistakes. You have always been on purpose. Every thought, word and deed has been divine in nature! From my heart to yours, Thomas
