Unconditional Love
Back in the days of Spirit Church, we used a saying often, to support each other. You say the person’s name and share: ”
I unconditionally love and support you, just the way you are, in all your magnificence”. We learned it from the Arnold Patent teachings. We would use it when someone would stand up in church and share about being in a challenging place in their life. The other day there was a program on NPR about two persons who had totally opposing points of view and still loved each other. Today’s politically charged climate is often driven by diametrically opposite ideologies. It might be time for some of us to just send a lot of love to the situation without judgment. We might close our eyes and take a deep breath and center our attention on our heart center. Then say” we unconditionally love and support the situation, just the way it is, in all it’s magnificence. Join me in giving this a try and see how we might affect our society in a loving way. From my unconditional heart to yours, Thomas
