Being Healthy
I have covered what we eat in this blog a lot. Tonight I would like us to discuss being mentally healthy. There are so many of us in pain both physically and emotionally. The world is not an easy place to navigate today. If we want to be healthy, we get to be loving. Love has been a curative for as long as there have been hearts that feel. Did you know that the heart sends more information to the brain than vice versa? Many of us try to think our way through life more than we feel our way through. The mind doesn’t know enough about happiness. Happiness is a feeling. The heart feels. When we feel happy we are more able to feel healthy and be healthy.
Another way to create a more powerful, healthy life, is to do something different. We are creatures of habit. We get stuck in these habits because it is comfortable. When we are too comfortable, we stop growing and becoming. Let’s find ways to take a risk. It doesn’t have to be a physical risk. It is when we move out of our comfort zone, that our life really begins. Let us take some quiet time and ask our heart what does it want to do? Then, whatever comes up for you, follow your hearts desire. Then take action. Go for your dream and never let go. You may not achieve it, but the journey will change your life forever. I believe that when we do this we will be healthier as well. It is when we follow our hearts and live our dreams we become examples for others to do the same. From my healthy heart to yours, Thomas
