Let’s develop our Negatives…and bring forth beautiful pictures of Life
Sometimes our inner language keeps us stuck. We have a monologue with ourselves that things are not going to work out. We may have had past experiences that lead us to believe the same results will occur.
I have seen so many people who overcome numerous setbacks. They have some quality that keeps them going, no matter what. I call it the “Lou Ann” method. Even when it appears that you won’t succeed at what you are creating. Even when others may try to discourage you because they don’t want to see you fail. You give it one more try!
That is what seems to be happening with our renewal of the television show we tried to create twenty three years ago.
I was out on my walk this morning and noticed a new home being built near us and made a connection with one of the new owners. Her name is Joanne and she has been a television reporter for twenty years and is moving here from Colorado. I invited her to join our team on the Positive Place TV show.
Then Lou Ann and I went to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Sedona; Javelina Cantina. We were checking out and stopped by the hosting stand. We met Debbie whose family owns and operates the Clear Creek Vineyard and winery in Camp Verde Arizona. She shared that the wine is organic. We agreed to meet her at their winery and see if they desired to be a sponsor of our television show.
We still do not know for sure if our dream will become a reality. However, we have pulled out our old negatives and it is time to have them developed into the beautiful, colorful pictures that have lain dormant in our mind and our soul.
I encourage you to leave your house and follow your heart on what you desire to do. There are so many opportunities for all of us when we just head in the direction of our feelings. It is time for all of us to recreate the pictures of our lives! From my colorful heart to yours, Thomas
