Reclaim Your Life

Brian Gardner shared a list of ways to live a fulfilling life on his website nosidebar.com.

Eight ways to reclaim your life:

1. Travel — go places you’ve always wanted to visit.

2. Social media — unplug from your devices every now and then.

3. Have conversations — seize the day and talk deeply.

4. Declutter — remove the unnecessary junk in your life.

5. Try new things — have no fear and enter the unknown.

6. Reminisce — look back and remember things that matter.

7. Solitude — spend time all by yourself, with nobody else.

8. Rest — stop what you’re doing, and do nothing.

It would be fun to create a dialogue about this and share our experiences around these eight suggestions.  Lou Ann and I love to travel and we have conversations with almost everyone.  We enjoy trying new things, it brings a lot of zest into our lives.  It is healthy to look back at our life and remember the things we did well.  I love going for several miles, long walks by myself and commune with nature.  Most of us would do well to stop and just hang out without doing anything.  We bought a house that came complete with all the furniture, fixtures, dishes and household items, now it is time to declutter!  Of course, this blog is on social media, it only takes an hour a day, so we get to spend more time with each other.
