Love Yourself No Matter What
The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves. We spend a lot of time seeking happiness in an amazing variety of ways. Too much time looking outside of ourselves in our search for joy. Life is way too short to be looking for something or someone to make us happy. We have always had the capacity to love our selves, we just forgot who we are. There is nothing broken that needs mending. Remember the words to one of my favorite songs. I love myself the way I am, there’s nothing I need to change. I’ll always be the perfect me, there’s nothing to rearrange. I’m beautiful and capable of being the best me I can. And I love myself just the way I am.
The point of the song for me is, there is only one you and that you, is the perfect you in every way. Our minds often get in the way and try to convince us that we are not okay. Our hearts know the truth. So, whenever you are not sure about how you are doing. Just remember that you are beautiful and capable at the most important thing in the world. And that is being you!
