Where Angels Fear to Tread
Day three road trip to Sedona and the Million Dollar View! Breakfast at Fairfield included veggie patties which were delicious. This time we brought our own Coconut milk. We took highway 54 for 420 miles from Wichita to Interstate 40 on the way to Albuquerque. It was like old times. We were on a highway that reminded me of the cross country trips my family took when I was a lad.
First of all, I didn’t exceed the speed limit all day. I don’t recall that ever happening before. I believe I will try to do that from now on. I will let you know how I make out. A side benefit is our gas mileage improved about 5 mpg. I loved slowing down and going through the main street of towns that have looked mostly the way they do for decades. These are folks that we would unlikely ever meet. And they are a different kind of me. Meaning they are just like me at their core.
They probably have similar fears and loves. They probably want a lot of the same things out of life. Like me, they most likely limit themselves. They are often too hard on themselves. They want to do the best they can and think that they don’t quite measure up. I wonder how we would look at life if we knew we were angels? What would be our approach? And what are angels anyway? I have shared with you on this trip a number of incidents that felt angelic to me. Emmanuel, the wonderful ancient being channeled by Pat Rodegast asks in book three ” What is an angel doing here?” He says we are all angels. If this is true would we look at each other differently? I think so. I know, it is hard to imagine that many of the events happening on Earth would be the choice of angels.
If we describe angels as divine beings, then I think we are all angels. When we incarnate we leave our wings and halos behind. We forget our unlimited nature and dive right in. Then life happens and sometimes we get really stuck in this Earth space suit. This is why the rest of us showed up at the same time. To help each other remember our angelic nature and do the most simple caring things for each other. Then we can be freed to love each other unconditionally and when it comes time to go home, we simply fly away! Let’s do this. Let us imagine that everyone we encounter has wings and halos and see what happens! From one angel’s heart to another, Thomas
