I light up my life!
A little parody on the hit song You Light up my Life! Lou Ann and I attended an Illuminate Film Festival meeting tonight. It is the first this year for our team and it was very exciting. We always feel energized and motivated after these events. The Illuminate Film Festival will occur this year from May 30th to June 3rd, here in Sedona. We were brainstorming about marketing campaigns that would best exemplify who we are and what we do. We were using the word illuminate as a verb. We are inviting folks to attend the festival in which they might be more illuminated. Then hopefully, they will be inspired to take action so that our planet might be more illuminated as well.
As I write this, it reminds me that we are all light beings. And light beings have a choice about life as to whether we let our light shine brightly or perhaps dim it a little. The song You Light Up My Life was written as a thank you to deity; that Oneness lights up our life and shows us the way. My parody, also implies that as an integral part of Oneness, we too illuminate our lives.
We also focused on how important it is to take action. It is easy to get fired up around like minded people who are making a difference in the world. Then when we return to our daily lives, the true illumination gets to shine through. I know I am always encouraging you to live your passion and follow your heart. I will say that to you forever. And it is so important right now, to not only follow those suggestions, but to do it for humanity and the world. We have reached a place on Earth where what we say, think and do are more important than ever. Because social media has captured the interest of billions of people it is more vital that we let our lights shine!
If you desire to create more illumination in your life then please come to the festival as a attendee or volunteer to support the festival. Go to illuminatefilmfestival.com and scroll down to the “get involved” tab and select volunteer. We would love to have you join our team and you don’t have to live in Sedona to do it. Now is the time shine our lights so bright that the world will be a dazzling ball of light! From my illuminated heart to yours, Thomas
