Life is good
Another day of laying ceramic tile in our home. We are putting down about 1100 square feet with help from a handyman, so it takes awhile. Lou Ann and I are tired and we get to join our good friend Ellie Cooper for dinner at Picazzos to celebrate. Life is full of events that we judge to be good or ugly or somewhere in between. When we look back on our half year of remodel we may grin at all the hurdles we have had to get over. Right now though, even the hard knee bending, back aching work feels like a good time as well. When we get to do something on our own instead of just paying for it there is a joy of accomplishment. Now, when we walk across all the beautiful tile we will feel a connection we might have missed.
We create all our life experiences and we get to evaluate them as well. I choose to see them as all on purpose with a deeper meaning than I am aware of. I know, fixing up a home is not some amazing occurrence. However when I look at all the things I could choose to do it feels awesome to do this. Take some time and look at your life choices. How have they served you? How would your life be if you had chosen differently? Even the mundane events can have a deeper meaning. After all, they were made by angelic beings of light and love. And that is a good thing. From my heart to yours, Thomas
